On Pentecost Sunday, during the Eucharist at the cathedral, presided over by Bishop Frédéric Rossignol, we gave thanks for the life we have received in Tournai over the past eight centuries and welcomed the grace of a new mission to Brussels.
“With the same faith as the Apostle Andrew before the crowd on the shores of Lake Tiberias, with the same faith as our anonymous foundresses at the gates of Tournai in 1231, here we are today with our five loaves and two fish. But what is that for so many people thirsting for meaning and hungry for peace and justice?
Like the disciples, we entrust to God the little we have, so that He may bless it, multiply it and distribute it, according to His will.”
