On 21 September, all the sisters who were able to travel
from the four community houses in Brussels
gathered at our new house in Schaerbeek.
Akin to a Visitation!
What a joy it was to nurture the bonds that bind us together,
to celebrate those sisters marking 60th and 70th anniversaries in religious life
and to pray in the new chapel whilst bathed in the light of its stained-glass windows.
Trinity, Thrice-Holy God,
here we are gathered at the heart of Your mystery.
This is our home:
a place of origin,
a place of inspiration,
a place that brings us together and a place that sends us forth.
We offer you the humaness of each one of us,
which, together, intertwine with each other and long to be filled with Your light.
Trinité, Dieu trois fois saint,
nous voici réunies
au cœur de ton mystère.
C’est là notre demeure :
lieu source,
lieu d’impulsion,
lieu qui nous rassemble
et lieu qui nous envoie.
Nous t’offrons nos humanités
